Performance, weather, and checklist
Use EFB performance pages, live METAR requests, and checklist tools to support takeoff, landing, and procedural review.
The EFB manual includes takeoff and landing performance pages, a Weather app that can retrieve METAR reports for up to three airports, and checklist tools.
Calculate takeoff performance
Use the takeoff performance page fields from the manual to calculate values for the selected runway and conditions.
Calculate landing performance
The landing page functions similarly: once the required fields are filled, the EFB calculates the maximum landing weight for the selected runway and conditions.
Request weather and run checklists
The Weather app can retrieve METAR reports for up to three airports, and the Checklist app supports procedure review from the EFB.
Performance values called out by the manual
MTOW: structural maximum takeoff weight for the aircraft.
PTOW maximum takeoff weight for current
PTOW: maximum takeoff weight for current runway and conditions.
Landing calculations after completing the required
Landing calculations after completing the required left-column inputs.
