The most-produced 737 Classic variant by a mile (with over 50% of Classics being -300s), the 737-300 has found its fate as a beloved workhorse for dozens of airlines worldwide. Powered by two CFM56-3B2 engines rated at 20K, or 22K, this airplane delivers perfect versatility for both short and medium distance operations. It remained in widespread scheduled use through the early 2010s, and several can be found still flying worldwide. Optional winglets became available as a retrofit in the early 2000s.
