Cockpit setup

Set the required MSFS cockpit interaction mode, review keybind mappings, and prepare route/navdata workflow before flying the CSS 737 Classic.

The aircraft feature manual states that the CSS 737 supports the Legacy cockpit interaction system, uses several default MSFS keybind names for autopilot and autothrottle actions, and supports SimBrief company route and AIRAC update workflows.

Set Legacy interaction

For MSFS 2020, use Options, General, Accessibility, Cockpit Interaction System. For MSFS 2024, use Options, General, Flight Interface, Cockpit Camera, Cockpit Interaction System.

Review keybind names

The manual maps default Microsoft Flight Simulator keybind names to CSS 737 actions such as autopilot disconnect, TOGA, autothrottle disconnect, CMD1, N1, speed, level change, and heading select.
